About Gate House
Gate House Bed and Breakfast in Chichester is a four bedroom house situated at the end of a lane in the village of Tangmere. Chestnut Walk is a quiet secluded road with picturesque residential properties.
Available for guests Gate House Bed and Breakfast overlooks the 300 year old thatched cottage (original Hill Farm House) from which the Gate House gets it’s name. Chestnut Walk derives its name from the few remaining Chestnut Trees in Tangmere including two large chestnuts on the Gate House property.
We offer a double, a twin and a single room on the first floor, with a shared bathroom facility. On request, we are happy to be flexible with child accommodation.
We have four spacious off street parking spaces, an attraction especially during the Goodwood Revival Meeting later in the summer and the Festival of Speed Meetings approximately 5 to 10 minutes away from the Gate House. Glorious Good wood Horse Races are similarly convenient from the Gate House.
We are also only a 5-minute walk to the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum.
