About Gate House
Gate House Bed and Breakfast in Chichester is a four bedroomed house situated at the end of a lane in the village of Tangmere. Chestnut Walk is a quiet secluded road with picturesque residential properties.
Available for guests Gate House Bed and Breakfast overlooks the 300 year old thatched cottage (original Hill Farm House) from which the Gate House gets it’s name. Chestnut Walk derives its name from the few remaining Chestnut Trees in Tangmere including two large chestnuts on the Gate House property.
We offer double and twin bed and breakfast accomodation for occupancy by 2 persons each. On request we are happy to be flexible with child accomodation. There are shared bathroom facilities provided which is a modern bath/stand in shower, toilet and wash hand basin with a further toilet for the guest’s convenience on the ground floor.
We have four spacious off street parking spaces, an attraction especially during the Goodwood Revival Meeting later in the summer and the Festival of Speed Meetings approximately 5 to 10 minutes away from the Gate House. Glorious Good wood Horse Races are similarly convenient from the Gate House.
We are also only a 5-minute walk to the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum.
